me too... and i'm lucky to have a husband who is so supportive of my decision to nurse... i usually nurse uncovered (meaning, she doesn't have a blanket on her head, but i'm wearing a nursing shirt so it's not like my boob is flailing to the whole world), but if the situation feels more appropriate, i cover up

I nurse in public but I cover up, not because I care what people think, but because Im modest and want to cover up.

    Yep, same here.

I mostly nurse in the car because we have a minivan, the girls can color while I relax and feed Lane. Lemme say we are also in a parking lot, I don't head out to the driveway to nurse when I am home, haha!

My baby came first and he needed to eat, if people didn't like it to bad...I coved up but sometimes I didn't have a blanket to put over him and then sometimes he took the blanket off his head, he hated it on his head..lol

I always nursed uncovered b/c I honestly really never felt differently about breastfeeding than I did bottle feeding. Now, I didn't expose nipple to the world to see or anything but I'm sure people could see the skin part of the boob and I honestly just didn't care that much b/c it's not like I got jollies off on it. I was simply feeding the baby, then food got put back in the shirt when they were finished. For the most part, I never got any bad vibes from anyone.
