After being here for a little while and being in a military relationship myself, I realized that people really shouldn't mess military SOs

We are some bad ass chicks (and dudes) ya'll!!
It takes a lot to do what we do and I think we all deserve a little pat on the back. Bless you all in your own way and thank you so much for being here.

I don't think I'm anything special but if you do, more power to ya I guess

Really? You don't think you bring something special to the table? At all?

Not trying to argue, but I mean, if you don't, you don't. That's cool, too. I agree with OP in thinking that there ARE a lot of women and men who couldn't handle the distance, schedule, etc. of a "military" relationship. Either that makes us pretty strong, or just means the *others* are too weak.

So, without insulting anyone, I think it's safe to say that *I* think we're pretty strong women (and men).

    You're welcome.

No, I don't. I would do everything I do for my husband even if he weren't in the military. I'd wait for him for however long if I needed to & go through the stress of whatever came my way. Distance & things like that have never been hard for me

Well, yes, I get what you're saying, but since you ARE a military SO, your title somewhat carries with it the before-mentioned connotation.

Meh, I'm sorry if I seem like I'm bickering... I'm taking something out on you that has nothing to do with you, sorry.

    You're welcome.

I think that was sasha is saying is that "we" are stronger for being able to handle relationships like this when so many aren't, and they will admit it (at least I know people who will). Regardless of the military affiliation. Some people just cannot handle the distance and lack of communication etc...at least, that's my opinion.
Put on your big girl panties and deal with it like a boss.
