    Showing some pride

    Advertisements
    Look at what I made!!!

I couldn't find a pre-made ribbon anywhere in town, i thought i had seen one once... idk when or where, but I ended up purchasing vinyl ribbon from a hardware store and made the ribbon for the tree in the front yard. Yay!
I also picked up a flag for the front porch. Can I just say that I love having a front yard! No more apt building!!!

Skill! I love the second picture with your little one on the front porch

it was like $1.59 at Ace Hardware. And staples! Then I cut 2 cardboard circles, one larger for the bigger loopies, I made one larger loop, stapled it to the larger circle, the cardboard circle isn't larger than the loop, so that it does not show, then I made 3 layers, one smaller than the other... for the smaller loops I used the 2nd circle and it made the very flimsy vinyl ribbon more sturdy...finished it with a circle in the middle and I cut 4 loose strips, 2 longer, and 2 shorter, then I separately put the ribbon, 3 pieces, around the tree, secured it, then secured the loopy thing, lol, love my descriptions, centered nicely....and with additional pieces covered the larger cardboard circle so when the wind blows you cannot see the cardboard, its held up to rain thus far!!! But if it gets damaged I can always make another one and another one and another one theres sooooo much ribbon left and I used the cardboard from a cereal box!

the ribbon is considered tree marking ribbon
