    Roll Eyes Friday night

    Advertisements
So I went to dinner at outback with my mom and brother friday night. Me and our watress talked a little and I found out her husband is deployed and told her my DB was also deployed. We talked about when they were coming back and stuff like that. Then at the end of the meal she brings us the bill and was all I know you aren't military yet and don't have an ID or anything but you go through the same things I do and I gave you the military discount (I almost cried). A lot of the time I feel pretty alone cause I am just a girlfriend and most of my friends are married. But it felt amazing to be included in part of the family.

I also gave her a big tip

SWEET. Gotta love a server who cares enough to go the extra step.

That was really sweet of her. You do go through the same emotions, stress and worry as a married person. We have a lady in our FRG who is now a fiance but she was a girlfriend during the deployment and we had no problem with that, heck even her mom is part of the group because she considers "C" to be the son she never had. They are both wonderful people and my friends now.
