Oh Lord,Don't get me started on this

I have to agree with you sweetie,on how most spouses feel with these statements..
But you also have to keep in mind--
They're probably saying these things with concern/support behind it*
It may not come out right,(or you just might feel like biting heads off because of your situation at the time)
and yeah some statements are "durrrr...make no sense",But I'm sure there isn't any harm intented

Another thing,We MS may call those ppl civilians..But in actuality,we are too*
We're not the personnel,we're married to the personnel*

I've had the craziest comments at meetings when other MS will call others (outside of the ML) "civilians"..
    Alright Already!! haha

oan: #11 will fire me up if I ever run into it*
    (PUNCH TO THE FACE*)! (lol)

Honestly, I have been a military SO for 3 years and the times anyone has said anything like that to me, I can count on one hand...It doesn't happen to me often enough to even worry about I just shrug it off as ignorance because truly....people have NO idea what it's like to be in a relationship with someone in the military unless they have been there, done that. That's why I love this site so much

In the 4 years my husband and I have been married, aside from somebody generally asking where my husband's deployed to, I have never had anybody ask me any of that.

Same. Except we've been married 2 years.
