    Never Forget

    Advertisements
Today mark's the 69th anniversary of the bombing of Pearl Harbor.

I am proud to say I served as a tour guide at this honorable memorial. I had the pleasure to work along side a few survivors of that terrible day. I learned so much and that experience confirmed my own pride in serving.

Take a moment today to salute those who lost their lives and gave so willingly.

Some quick facts about Pearl Harbor (which I lifted from a PH site

** In all, the Japanese sank or damaged 188 aircraft, eight U.S. Navy battleships, three destroyers, three cruisers, and one minelayer. The damage caused to the Japanese navy was very small, Only 29 aircraft out of 350 were destroyed.
** There were 2,403 people killed, 68 of those were civilians. 1,178 were wounded.
