Definitely a deployment song. The video covers a lot of military branches and its actually a really good song. I have NEVER heard it before, so I thought i would share it with you all.
![]() I think it was made especially for the military channel but I could be wrong. It's in the description for that video. It's always nice to hear new songs that deal with military and deployments. Hope you like it! ![]() http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=imp_FiSVMu0 "You're Missing" Shirts in the closet, shoes in the hall Mama's in the kitchen, baby and all Everything is everything Everything is everything But you're missing Coffee cups on the counter, jackets on the chair Papers on the doorstep, you're not there Everything is everything Everything is everything But you're missing Pictures on the nightstand, TV's on in the den Your house is waiting, your house is waiting For you to walk in, for you to walk in But you're missing, you're missing You're missing when I shut out the lights You're missing when I close my eyes You're missing when I see the sun rise You're missing Children are asking if it's alright Will you be in our arms tonight? Morning is morning, the evening falls I have Too much room in my bed, too many phone calls How's everything, everything? Everything, everything You're missing, you're missing God's drifting in heaven, devil's in the mailbox I got dust on my shoes, nothing but teardrops

I love springsteen, and that song is in reference to 9/11, ie the missing person is essentially dead/missing (as in the case of emergancy personel that were caught in the collapse), it's off The Rising. I guess it could be interpeted as a military song, I just can't view it that way. The whole cd tends to be a 9/11 reference from the City's point of views. It's like if you listen to the song The Fuse off that cd the lyrics state at one point " Down at the courthouse ther're ringin the flag down, long back line of limos snakin slow through town".
