Poem "Don't Leave Me"

[Loves Her SPC]

Ok, i wrote this poem way before I was with DB. But here it goes!

Don't Leave Me

Time ticks away
Flashes of light dance in the dark sky
Bullets cut through the air
Bodies fall down like leaves on trees
You scream out my name

I awake with fear running in me
You're not by my side
Tears fall down my face
Clutching my pillow tight
Rocking back and forth
I whisper into the darkness
"I'm here baby. Don't leave me."

Talking about a guy caught up in a battle and he is shot and he hollars out his girl's name. It's like she hears him and tells him not to give up. Hope is there.

that was beautiful i started tearing up thinking about my SO and the fear i have when he gets deployed

i've got plenty more poems. i wrote a sweet one about a military couple sayin their goodbyes at the airport. i aint really came up with a title yet. but here this one goes

He kissed her head
Hugged her tight
Tears fell from her brown eyes

He whispered in her ear,
"Hold on baby. Don't let go.
I'll be back soon."
Then tears fell from his blue eyes

Silence fell between them
A final call for his plane
She watched him walk away
With tears falling down
She said, "Baby, I'll hold on."

I was either thinkin namin this "hold On" or "Tears"

wow very good! only time i can right poems is if i'm depressed and usually the poems are sad
