New tattoo idea... opinions please!! - Military Pride

Okay, so I'm going to get a new tattoo on the back of my neck, as a surprise for my hubby when he comes home from deployment

Base image I'm going to get this: (blue anchor, white hat)

Yellow ribbon in center between crossbar and bottom of anchor and red heart in center.

roughly (VERY roughly... just used online editor so pixel quality is crappy ) this is what I'm thinking: (again, anchor would be blue and his name will be under it in script.)

I think it could be cute. Will have to be on the medium size of things though because of the detail and how you are wanting the ribbon to lay plus the detail

I think just the anchor and the hat is cute. The ribbon and heart might be better saved for a separate tattoo.

I don't see why that would matter. It's her way of showing her support for her husband. Plenty of women get "Semper Fi" for their Marine husbands, and I don't see anything wrong with any of the two

Nope. I'm a Navy Brat of 20 plus years though, and now a Navy spouse of 5, so I thought it appropriate. It's the life I grew up in. ? Now, question for question... y did ya ask? (I thought about a Red sox thing, but maybe I'm gonna save that for the next one. lol!)

Yeah, I think that might be the case, too, but and I'm okay with that.

Between makeup and my hair, as long as it can be covered for a ball or whatnot, I'm good! I thought about maybe also getting it on a shoulder blade on my back... I'm going to leave it up to the artist, I think.
