Thank you to all the men and women serving in the desert.
Thank you to all the loving family and partners they have left behind.
Thank you for every letter you send them.
Thank you for every care package you mail.
Thank you for every night you spend alone curled up like a ball unable to sleep.
Thank you for standing my you SO no matter what it takes.
Thank you, because your support keeps them going at their best.
Thank you, because it is you they are fighting for.
Thank you, because it is the hardest thing you have ever done even if no one is noticing.

Thank you for seeing in the eyes of your SO what I see in my husband.
Some one who talks the talk, and walks the walk.
Some one who is willing to serve at the expense of their lives.

Thank you for giving your heart away to someone who has already giving a part of himself to his nation.

Our SOs get thanked every day, but the military wife/husband, girl/boyfriend, is sometimes forgotten.

Thank you for all that you do.



I was watching the Colbert Report last night and couldn't get over the crowd, all those men and women serving, and all those families waiting on them at home.
