It takes a special kind of woman
To lead a special life;
To be married to a soldier...
To be a Military wife.

To build a family of strength
When her man is far away.
To ask the father up above
To keep him safe each day.

To lead her family every day
Than at night to rest her head
On a solitary pillow
In a big and lonely bed.

To keep things packed and ready
Should her husband receive the call
To defend this great nation;
To sacrifice his all.

Yes her life can be a joyous one
Or be filled with stress and strife...
May God shower his blessings upon
