I am a soldier, but (poem type thing)
I'm a soldier, but I worry. I'm a soldier, but I care. I'm a soldier, when you're with me...I even love you when you're not there.....A soldier gives up his freedoms, and this soldier will make his stand. But I'm a child without you my love. Please take my hand....I could never loose my focus. I could never loose my pride. Truth is we get our strength from the woman by out side. No one would stand against her, sure to fail if they tried...Because our soldier's would stand with them...after all they're our ARMY WIVES.
Not sure where this came from... it's being passed around my husband's barracks for everyone to text to their wife. He sent it to me and then he called me and said "even though I didn't write that...I read every word and really do mean it!" I was like "Awww..."
