    drivers licenses in CA

    Advertisements
Today I heard that if you live in the state of Calforina for longer than 30 days you are required to get a CA drivers license. one lady was saying you have to go to the DMV take the writen AND the driving test. What do you guys know about this?

Me personally I have a WA drivers license that will expire 90 days after my husbands last day of active duty. I won't be bothering to get a CA license.

Every state says you have to have their license. I have never switched my license and I do not plan to unless we stay there for life. If yours is current I would not really worry about it.

My license expired when I was living there so I just went ahead and got a CA one. All I had to do was take the written test...

I was there for 4 months and used my Hawaii one. I still have my Hawaii one I dont see the point in changing it everytime you get stationed somewhere else.

We have never changed ours, we keep our Oregon licenses to keep our resident status there.
