    BOLC

    Advertisements
DH commissions in May and is attending BOLC at Ft. Benning, and then straight after doing ranger school. Total time is a minimum of like 6-7 months. Will they send him alone or will they PCS us? Anyone have any idea?

I figured not but wanted to see if anyone had a real answer.

DH says they will probably move you...but he is NG, so take that as you will
Put on your big girl panties and deal with it like a boss.

damn that would be great! we've been trying to figure out what the heck to do with me after we sell the house, so it'd be nice if I just went with him!

They won't move you until he gets into ranger school and passes phase 1. That is what I was told when my ex husband was getting ready to go through. Just to insure that they are even gonna make it before moving people.

Is it all in the same place? I don't know if they will count the time in BOLC towards the minimum time for accompanied training orders. But I think 22 weeks in one location is still the requirement so 6-7 months should be enough, if they do.

yeah it's all at ft. benning.

it wouldn't make any sense for them to wait until he gets in and passes phase 1 because then he'd be 2-3 months from his new station. It'd only make sense if they did it when he left in june for BOLC, since ranger school is directly after.

You may know the answer by now, but I just saw this. My husband came to Benning for BOLC then Ranger and we were PCS'd! He's doing ranger now and I'm still living down here
