    Nutts Did ur DH Hate

    Advertisements
AIT? My Dh hates it, and often wishes he hadn't signed up. I keep trying to be positive and tell him he only has a little longer left, but it make sit really hard for me to be supportive. I know it will be a whole new world once he gets done with AIT, but he has seriously thought about quiting. I can't say I would be entirely upset, but at hte same time I would be. I try to be supportive and keep telling him how great its going to be when we get to out duty station, but I just don't know. He's always so upset and unhappy when I talk to him, and it makes me unhappy too. I ty not to let him know. I just need to know, that his time in isn't going to be like this!!!

DH loved AIT compared to basic training! He had a lot of friends there and really enjoyed himself.

Now deployment on the other hand...yeah. He cannot stand that...

a lot of guys go back and forth. i knew this one guy who kept saying he wanted out during AIT and then saying he wanted to be a lifer. he might just be venting to you to relieve stress or even just to have something to talk about and he's not feeling as bad as he says.

AIT is Advanced Individual Training (correct me if I'm wrong on the acronyms, army ladies) for the Army. It's where they go after Basic Training (bootcamp) to get their training for their MOS (official "job" in the army.) It's really more like college - going to classrooms, etc. than anything.
