    sending cookies, how to pack?

Is it with cookies that I'm supposed to put a piece of bread in the container? I'm sending DB some chocolate chip cookies in a gladware plastic container, but I'm not sure how to ship them. TIA!

I wish I could tell you....I sent Nick's some cookies in his last package (he's deployed) and it took over a month to get to him and he said that they were pretty similar to bricks

I didn't know he could get stuff in boot camp, that's great

When I shipped cookies to dh I just sealed them in a ziplock baggie and they stayed pretty soft. HTH

well, he's in AIT now... and I'm just hoping he can get it. If not, he can eat a few & then give them to his friends... it's the 'thought that counts' that I'm going for!

ziploack baggies with a piece of bread, then inside glad containers, then in a well padded box. Freeze the cookies first too. Then express mail the package to him.

I almost always send cookies to DH when he is gone. I put them in a ziplock bag and then in a glad storage container. I have never had any problems sending it that way.

I think the bread and ziploc container idea will work well
