Question - Ingleside, TX.
Hi Ladies, I was told there are a few girls from Ingleside here and I had a question for you. My boyfriend and I are leaving for Ingleside in a week and we still haven't found a place to live. We'll be staying in a hotel until we find a place, so I'm eager to get a jump on this while I still have my computer. Mandi mentioned Portland a couple days back, we'll definitely be looking there as well, but are there more surrounding towns/cities that we should look into? And while I'm asking questions, are their areas that I should avoid? (Sorry, I'm from Cali and out here, we take no chances ... lol.)
~ Cher (Sorry if this is in the wrong place, there are so many places to post on this board.)

Thanks
I'm never sure where to put questions on big boards like this. Ya, I didn't expect many people to be up at this hour. I just figured I'd get a jump start on posting today while Russ is still sleeping

Ya, I've been trying to step out of this shy-girl routine that I'm in, so this is actually good for me. I'll make sure to ask if I have any doubt on where things go

I personally would have to stay in Corpus Christi
If you are from a good sized town Portland will be very small to you and everything else is even smaller. My dh is stationed at NAS CC so we go lucky to be on this side to begin with. But he would have a drive NOT TOO LONG but still a drive to NS but to me it would be worth it to have the convience of everything else. I have no country girl left in me lol so I have to go for city and CC is as close to a city as you will get around here HTH and this is jmo |

You know Breezy, I totally agree with you! If you want to live in a big town, go for Corpus, but if you are looking for a smaller town, go for portland. Ingleside is tiny compared to portland and almost no-existent compared to corpus! I would say that the drive to NS ingleside is what....maybe a half hour + or - depending on where you live. I totally forgot about corpus!! Thanks breezy!!
