    okay i'm the one that had the huge thread about my pcos might prevent me from going. well all that doesn't matter now. i found out today that i'm pregnant!!!! so freakin happy and shocked. anyway so what will i have to do now? anything at all, besides getting the blood test and tell the efmp sgt. that i'm pregnant and stopping the packet going out? just wanting to know how being pregnant impacts me going to misawa.

    thanks! this is so out of nowhere too!! i used my hpt at 2:30 today to make myself be okay with start my yaz tonight and that second line appeared and got darker!!! i don't think i'll be high risk, i wasn't with ds. all i had was gestational diabetes and it was controlled with diet, no meds.

    You should be fine. People get pregnant and have babies at Misawa all the time. So as Sandy said, as long as you are not high risk everything should go through as normal.

    I found out i was pregnant right when my husband was sent to japan. I was approved but i had a slight scare at 29 weeks so I have to wait after but I was good to go and able to fly to 32 weeks

    thanks ladies, so glad it's all working out, for everyone!! i almost 7 weeks already!! if i had a regular cycle. with pcos you never know when or if you ovulate.

    Congrats... See everything worked out. BTW if you leave for Misawa via Seattle on a Sunday it is a straight flight. My good friends just took it last week. They said it took about 10 hours and it went straight to Misawa. Good Luck!

    They will not stop a package because you are pregnant. That will not stop it. Unless you are high risk, you could keep going.

    good to know polkadotted! i'm so excited. i wanted to get my blood drawn today but our base has been having exercises all week and have the whole base in delta right now, boo. so i'll go tomorrow and have it drawn!!
