    PCS Toolkit and Checklists

    Advertisements
With Summer PCS season about to hit and lots of questions arrising, I found this website that may be of some help to people. It has a PCS travel suggestions, as well as a "survival Guide" and other suggestions. This is mainly written for Navy, but can be used for all branches.

allmylovegifts.net - PCS Toolkit: Travel File
    allmylovegifts.net - PCS Survival

Military.com also have some great checklists that you can use as well starting from 3 mths out from your move
    Military.com Resources

All of these can be altered to your liking as well.

I was wondering if i can get some information about what do i need to do and have for my husband to PCS me and the kids? His moving to Oklahoma from korea where he got station for a year and he would like to take us with him in Oklahoma to start a brand new life. How long will the PCS be for us?

If you are on his orders to go to OK, you will PCS with him. For you to do anything as far as the military is concerned, you will need to have POA. He should be able to email you a copy of his orders. Take them to the housing office to set up housing for your new base if you are planning on living onbase. You can take them to TMO to set up shipping and everything. So long as you are on the orders (which you should be) and have POA, you can just treat it as a normal PCS.
