    First PCS

My step-dad (retired usmc) told us that the military will move from two locations?? Does anyone know if this is true?? I have found conflicting information, and need to know for sure. They have some furniture they are planning on giving us, but I need to know if the military will pick up from two locations. It would be in the same general city (about 35 miles between houses though) if that matters at all.

for us, they picked up from 2 locations, but they said it had to be within 30 miles.

My DH was told that if it was in his home of state they would pick up a certain weight limit. I guess that didn't help much. That's what we were told though.
What the fuck is going on here????
To truly love something, you must first give it a chance to fail. If it survives, it is going to be stronger than ever. Distance is pure proof of this, and forever we will
    love if we survive.

they can- you need to inform TMO when you go to set up the move- they should pick up from both locations- but understand you have to stay with in your weight limit, and the pick up may not happen on the same day.

I personally don't know - we moved ourselves and got reimbursed.

DH got stuff sent to the states and his new duty station... So I guess it should be doable somehow.

Typically it's from the current duty station and from the home of record for the active duty member. The first PCS may get some slack, especially if you get a nice TMO person.
