They shipped our boxed and can foods from Okinawa to here. Were were only told no cleaning supplies, cold foods or liquids. We had to pack the food though and leave the boxes open so they could see what was inside

Some moving companies are stricter than others. The movers packed my unopened non-perishables. Anything that was already opened I threw out or gave away.

They let us pack unopened no perishable food but they checked it and it was only allowed in one box. I didn't have much to even fill the small box. No cleaning supplies, laundry detergent, any liquid, make sure any appliances have been cleaned to the tee. I threw out my deep fryer and toaster oven since I was never going to get the gunk out to make it acceptable.

they will ship some stuff- boxed, canned and bags- but I would bag the stuff that could break open into other ziplock bags- and do this with your spices to to keep them from spilling every where

When I was moved they only packed the canned goods. I wouldn't trust anything else anyways. They wouldn't pack cleaners, candles, nail polish, and other food. When the movers came beforehand for the walk through they didn't tell me anything. I was totally clueless.
What the fuck is going on here????
To truly love something, you must first give it a chance to fail. If it survives, it is going to be stronger than ever. Distance is pure proof of this, and forever we will
    love if we survive.
