Is anyone currently living on post? I have a super quick question that I SHOULD know the answer to, but I don't. PM me, or I'll PM you, if anyone's there.

Hm, I wonder where no one on here lives on post. Is there a sign that I should be listening to or something. I wasn't so bad the first time I lived there.

I know people who live on post. The newer housing is really nice, but Choctaw village is a little outdated, although still pretty nice.

You can get great deals on apartments near Fort Carson, though.

Haha, this is old for me. I already have my question answered.

I'm not new to Ft. Carson, I'm returning so it's no biggie. DH and I liked living on post... I was just trying to figure out what neighborhood one of the houses was in.

i like it. we first saw the house from the outside and didn't think it was worth it, but then saw the inside and it wasn't bad at all. i live in the shoshoni village ( i think,lol). i also liked the fact how everything is close by, so in case weather gets bad, i won't have to drive far. also, i won't have to worry about making sure i will have enough for rent every month.

I currently live off post from Fort Carson, when we PCS'd here 4ID from Fort Hood came at the same time, so the waiting list was looong. But I have friends in on post housing and they like it, and when my lease is up we will be moving onto Fort Carson as well.
