Okay, so I have all the forms for the EFMP screening. I just have to get mine and the kids' dentist to sign off and then turn it all back in. I get that part.

And I know I have to get no-fee passports for the kids and myself. We all have our regular passports. Do I have to have the letter of consent from DH for the kids no-fee passports?

Can I do the no-fee passports at any time or do I have to wait until the EFMP part is done?

I know I am going to have a ton more questions so TIA!

It depends on the base if they will let you get your no fee before the EFMP screening is done. I was able to get mine beforehand at the army post here. Wouldnt hurt to ask your passport person at your base.

Yeah I would really suggest calling the people in charge there about that. Each base probably runs things a bit differently.

call the people and ask them, for mw i did it before i did my screening so i could have it back in time. But I didnt and I still traveled with just my regulare pass-port and had the other sent to me with the stamp on it

Definitely check with passport office. I didn't get mine before I had my EMFP screening, but that was just the way things happened for me.

I was allowed to get my no-fees passport before I had my medical clearance, but I couldn't get my visa until the medical clearance had gone through. Contact the passport at your base though because it sounds like some of them run a little different.

Every base is different. I know MacDill wouldn't let us do passports until paper accompanied orders were cut. I think your DH may have to do the paperwork for the no-fees if he's not there (giving his permission).
