How does EFMP work when it comes to housing?
Things are finally ironing themselves out now and we are finally getting back on track. So... I was told that when a family has EFMP that they are bumped to the top of the waiting list is this true? Just wondering!

it depends on the EFMP. Usually it depends on the status where you are at on the housing list. When I was in Germany we were living in temp housing on the 4th floor during the summer and we keep moving up and down on the list, until i told the housing lady that the steps and heat were triggering my asthma. She told me to get EFMP proven so that she can find a housing sooner and somewhere on the lower level. It all depends also on the housing person.

I am assuming Cat 5? I think it depends on the rating, but I thought that I heard before it does bump you up. Not sure how much... My son is a Cat 5 too, but we've never lived in housing. Hopefully someone else has a concrete answer.
