Shipping a car question - Military Moves and Relocation

Hey everyone,

We are looking to move a truck from WA to OK. It's for a PCS for FAOBC (due to snowbirding). I was curious what our options are, if any, provided by the Army to move the truck without driving it? Thanks in advance! Any information is greatly appreciated!

The military will not ship a car on their dime for a conus to conus base. You will have to pay the fees to ship it or you will have to drive it.

this is true- BUT there is a reimbursement program that will reimburse you part of the cost of shipping an authorised vehicle.
this is avail to all members in all branches
