How much?
Does anyone know what the average cost is to move a military member and family? I'm just curious how much they are saving with us staying in Gulfport.

Im not sure either, but I think it averages 5-10K depending on rank, since each rank is allowed a different amount of weight...
(i was 1200 pounds over this last move we heard they charge 55 cents to a dollar per pound... but we haven't been told anything official)

We were told that a E6 with a family of 5 would cost 14,000 to move us from here in great lakes to Cali. SO they said no and are thinking about sending us to gulfport.
