Is there a list of things we are not allow to have pack and move with us?

open liquids
gas tanks with gas in them (like for the grill)
lighters/flamable liquids

No cleaning supplies?

Like not even laundry detergent or the Lysol wipes type of things?
I need to know if I'm going to have to sell my stock pile in a garage sale.

lysol wipes are fine, but not laundry liquid, 409, bleach, etc...

It depends on where you are going to. I would go to TMO and request that list or go to the website for your gaining base to see if they have information about moving there.

Anything related to food and plants, detergents, prescription drugs (unless doctor authorizes as vital) are restricted. But call TMo on base and ask for a list from them. That is what they gave us when we PCSed back to US.

Yeah, go to your new base's website and it should have ALOT of helpful information on there.

I haven't had any problems moving overseas or traveling internationally with my prescriptions and I didn't need any kind of special notice, just that they had to be in the Rx bottles they came in.

the list is the same for ALL moves-
no-no's
plants
liquids- bleach, dish soap, bath soap, lotion, nail polish remover, mr. clean, sauces
flamables- like lighters, candles, propane tanks, batteries, matches, sterno cans, nail polish
parishable foods- cold and frozen foods, fruits and veggies, open boxes of food unless put in ziplock bags with packaging.

for moves that will take longer than 4 weeks- I do not suggest shipping any food in boxes or packages=Mice and rats

you can ship alchohol ( LOL yes both liquid and flamable)
canned goods
dry goods powder soap ( unopened), wipes, dust cloths, ect.

Oh shh.. what about liquid comestibles that do not go bad that soon.
I have all my cake flavorings in gallons!
