TLE? - Military Moves and Relocation

When PCSing and arriving in VA, I was told we can't stay on base in temporary lodging because we have pets. Can we still get TLE to cover the lodging expenses before we get a place?

yes but you pay out of pocket first. , you get re-embursed for TLE. and it cannot be longer than 10 days.

yes, you will pay first for the hotel and the submit copies of the reciepts with a travel claim.

you will be reimbursed dollar for dollar ( as long as you stay within your locality cap) and then get money for food ( which you do not need reciepts for).

oh and you will not be reimbursed for any additional costs for the pets.
