DCD Travel pay used to move girlfriend not wife. - Military Moves and Relocation

My husband (separated) used his DCD Travel pay to move his girlfriend and get an apartment with her. Me and my son didn't see a dime of it. Can he really do that?

Talk with an attorney and get documentation for it. That is the best you can do. If you want to risk it, you can contact his boss.

No i didn't move. I'm still right where he left me. Sleeping on my mothers couch. I know where he is stationed but I have no idea who is co is. He wouldn't tell me.

it is fraud. he was given the money to move his family- if you know the base he went to call them and ask - I was able to find DS by calling the base locator at the base I knew he was at.
talked to his CO the same day.

I hink you're going to have to prove some intent to defraud. As it is, he can say that you chose not to move and it's your word against his. He/they can easily claim that everything that was moved belongs to him.

Now, if he attempts to get into housing with the girlfriend pretending to be his spouse, then you've go an intent to defraud. Also, if he collects BAH at the new duty station and isn't sending you any money, that's also intent to defraud.

If you know the new command, you might want to speak to the Personnel section that governs pay and start establishing some contacts there. They'll need to know that you are the legal spouse and that he's supposed to be sending you money.

Since you're still legally his wife, I assume you have an ID card. This entitles you to utilize the legal office where you're stationed. Go see them and they will help, especially since you're going to need to start to garnish his wages for child suppport.

He is at Ft. Riley KS. I am in western Michigan. There are no bases around here. He didn't move anything of mine. Only his. He left me, my son and all our stuff here at my mothers. He did however get an apartment with his girlfriend. As well as pay to move her.
