I think I need help finding a form number.
Dh turned in some or all of our move paperwork to dispersing earlier this week. The guy doing the paperwork said he would be turning it into the PSD on the base this week. Dh did not receive any paperwork from him stating what we will exactly be receiving as far as the travel advance (dla, per diem, malt) goes. I remember us getting this last time. Does anyone know what I am talking about? Dh does and understands, but won't go in to talk to the guy until he knows that the form number is for this. He says the guy is only giving him yes or no answers to anything and everything. He ended up having to route up a special chit up his entire command to even request an advance on any of these PCS entitlements. Maybe that's the norm, but dh has been having to jump through more hoops than I thought he would. Anyways- if anyone could help me with that, I would really appreciate it!! Also- dh said there was no section on the form to write or state what percentage of the travel advance we wanted. It just stated advance or something. Dh told him the percentage we wanted, but isn't trusting the guy to put that in because he didn't want dh to put in for the advance in the first place. Is there a standard percentage that they usually advance or does it vary? Thanks so much for any input!! |

I bellieve the form number changes by branch- so i do not know-
however- as for the percentage- DH always wrote the percents down and we have always gotten it- I am not sure where he did it but I know he did. we always got 100% of the DLA, and 80% of the Malt and per diem and never take advance TLE. and you cannot ( in most branches) get an advance on the partial PPM.
