    moving car behind moving truck

Will they pay mileage on the car if we drag it behind a moving truck for a DITY move or no since its not actually driving. We're planning on unhooking it when we stop places and driving it if that makes a difference.

Thanks, was curious because it would definitely make our mileage worse. Plus I know we can't claim the weight for moving it obviously.

We just got reimbursed for the truck but we did have to weigh the car empty and full along with the truck. . I'm not much help - sorry! I was on massive pain killers and slept for the whole 3 days of PCSing - lol.

you will not get milieage for the towed vehicle.

it is a catch 22- you can get the 24 cents a mile-for driving it - but how much more is it going to cost to drive it- wear and tear, actual gas and getting it ready to drive where it needs to go.

Yeah... We will definitely not put ANYTHING in the car then. I don't really want to put tons of miles on the car, also it seems more appealing to be in the same vehicle as DH. I figured you would know for sure.
