    Question Do you really need...

    Advertisements
two passports? both a No Fee and a civilian? Im trying to get a command sponsorship to South Korea. Anyone know? DH says that one of the people he works with, his wife came over with just the NF. I've heard a few different things...help anybody? also does it take both passports 6-8 weeks to come and if i get them expedited will they come in quicker?

I don't know about the first part, but it's taking 4-6 weeks to get passports. I just had to get mine fixed post-divorce and Travis just got one. If you expedite it, it should come within two weeks but that costs an extra $150 if I remember right.

You do not have to have both to come. The No fee passport is all you really need to come here, but if you plan on traveling anywhere else while here (China, Japan, Thailand, Austrailia) you need a regular passport. My advice is it is better to have both and not need it than not to have one and need it.

The only valid passport I have is my no-fee. I need to update my tourist passport because I didn't get it changed when DH and I got married.

For me, I needed the no-fee as per the orders. To travel for pleasure, I need the tourist passport.
