I think it depends on the movers! we had some stuff packed in boxes and plastic bins and they asked if we wanted it repacked or if we just wanted it to go as it was! but i have heard from others that they had to unpack it and repack it!

ive hurd that if you pack it they are not responsible if something happens to its contents but if they pack it they are,
Sometimes the smallest things take up the biggest space in your heart.

they are suppose to repack anything that is pre packed by the customer- but some will not- the best thing to do is call your carrier to find out thier policy.

they re packed some of ours, and left some in the bins/boxes. Our movers ran out of boxes, thats why some of ours were not repacked.

Some movers will mark things "packed by homeowner" and waive responsibility for breakage. That can happen even if you touch the boxes or put small things in while they're packing... The only thing I pack myself is our Christmas decos..

Well, I'm what I am and I'm what I'm not
and I'm sure happy with what Iíve got
I live to love and laugh alot
    and thatís all I need

that is what ours just did.

anything we had in bins they asked us if we wanted to repack them.....I said no. they were christmas decorations/other holiday decorations/etc....nothing overly valuable.

we had to sign off on them.

when DH and I first got married, I packed everything in boxes with labels according to room and what was in the box. I taped them all up and everything. They unpacked EVERYTHING and threw random stuff in boxes. UGH I was so mad lol

I have never had them unpack and repack or write anything though. They always just ask me if I want it repacked and I tell them no and they go ahead and stick in the crate.
    Needs work.
