So, I just had my name changed and was wondering if anyone knew where to go or who to call to see about getting a new card. Does my hubbie have to be with me too?

I beleive that he does need to be with you.

There are ID places on all the bases, well 32nd st. accross from the commissary, Point Loma, and North Island.

There is a form that your DH can get you so he doesn't have to be with you. I can't remember what the form is called but thats what I had to use.

Yeah, I just had to do that, if hubby is on a ship, they can fill it out and get it "notarized" (a military version of it) and have it emailed to you. I got my banking POA that way... But he just has to fill that form out (his command will know what he needs) and then get it to you and you are set. (Obviously, you will need your marriage certificate as well...) HTH
