    How soon after you dh re-enlisted for duty station of choice did you get orders to pcs?

    My friend's husband did and I think it'll be right around 6 months by the time he reports.

    My dh is deploying in the fall, but can re-enlist soon. Were hoping that once he returns we'll get the heck out of Kansas! I guess everyones timing is different.

    Your DH should get orders to PCS shortly before the deployment ends if he reenlists downrange or shortly before deployment.

    friend of ours here re-enlisted for england back in oct, & he has to report to england begining of oct this year, but he'll prob fly over & report end of sept,with his wife . so for them it'll be a yr.
    & i wont know for us till next june when my hubby re-enlists.

    I have the same question but kinda different. DH is currently National Guard but should be going Army Aug 1st. We are hoping to be stationed at Ft Story or Eustis. How long does it usually take? We have to sell our house and pack up, find a new place, etc before then.

    DH is gonna reenlist to get out of Kansas too. We're a year out from his window though.

    DH re-enlisted for here while he was in Afghanistan, came back in July and pcs'd in December.
