Has anyone used Budget truck rentals for their moving purposes? If so what was your experience?

I've used budget before, they're not bad. Uhaul was sooo overpriced! Penske is who we used this move and they were the least expensive. Even after using budgets 20% military discount

We used Budget and it was a joke. What could go wrong went wrong. Halfway during our PCS we had to switch to Penske..

I would go with Penske, Ryder or Uhaul.

We used Budget both times we moved. Once from Washington to Oregon, then from one town to another in Oregon.

ETA: We had a good experience both times. I think we had over 5,000 pounds when we moved from Seattle to Medford, and all of our stuff fit perfectly into their largest truck. (20 ft? I can't remember.)

Yep. Twice. They were the cheapest. Both experiences were positive. One move was about 5 hours and the other was just to the next town over.

I hope whoever you use that you have a wonderful experience

I used Penske too, if you make the reservation early they will price match if it goes down in the time before the move. We went from CA to NC and had a great experience, they were by far the cheapest at the time and we had no problems (other than the fact that driving across country in a moving truck sucks )
