    Military Movers??

    Advertisements
3 of our items were broken when we unpacked everything. The company that shipped our goods were National Van Lines.

The lady at National Van Lines told me to file a claim with them and they will reimburse what we paid for the items.

One of them being his stroller. His stroller is a Peg Perego Pliko P3 Classico one. I don't remember how much I paid for it, but, I know it was close to $300.00

    Anyone ever dealt with this?

How does the reimbursing work? Do they give us a check? Deposit into his pay?

We need a stroller now that his is broken..

You have to file a claim to get your money back. They send you a check.

First thing you will learn, keep receipts for all items over $100.

You can go online and find a printout of how much the replacement cost item is an attach that to the claim or the receipt for the replacement item. I believe if you file directly with the company they mail you a check. I wouldn't expect to see any money for at least 60 days.

She said that you won't need a reciept.

All you'll need are these 1 of these things.
    1) Estimate of Repair
    2) Copy of Original Purchase Receipt
    3) Pictures – of actual household items
    4) Catalog Pages - similar in like, kind, quality & features
    5) Internet Pages - similar in like, kind, quality & features – DO NOT SUBMIT LINKS but actual pages

we are dealing with this right now, so far its been so simple. When we moved they broke our Patio Table, we had to submit this form online to the movers, and send pictures. Its been a week since I did all that and today they told us they are going to give us $200 for the table and that the check will be coming with in the next 7-10 days.

But I remember when I got out of the Air Force a few years ago, and a few of my stuff came up missing, there was so much more to do with it, and I actually dealt with the Air Force and not the movers, so I guess maybe its different per branch or they changed something.

We didn't have to have a receipt, just pictures. But the movers stated on the paperwork that they did indeed break it before they left.
