AFAIK they don't. I've also heard it's hard, if not impossible, to get into the cg when you're coming from another branch

CG is downsizing SERIOUSLY right now and from what I heard so is the AF. Why would you want to go into another branch that has less job security?

My DH just talked to his Chief and I've been talking to recruiters. Both are accepting crossovers.

Its not impossible, but theres ALOT of paperwork & stipulations (sp?). As for which is better, it all depends on his MOS & what exactly he would be doing. Personally I would say AF, but Im partial since I have inlaws who just retired AF.

I would DEFINITELY go AF before Army.

But the Navy promotes faster than either, so I guess it all depends on your priorities.

I said AF or CG. Not Army. Lol. There's no way he would join the Army. My DH has been in the Navy for like 3 years and is only an E-3. So he just wants to get out. He's a cook, so every branch needs cooks.

Im partial, but the Air Force. I had 3 people in my boot camp that where previous Navy... its not impossible at all. I actually also had a supervisor that had been in all four(excluding CG) services, which I thought was kinda cool.

My cousins ex-fiance also went from Navy to Air Force... and that was just last year.
