    Hello I know things change....

    Advertisements
I know times have changed so I am asking you all to clarify. Most of our stuff is in storage. My dad (retired AF) said that the movers were going to unpack and re-pack all of our stuff when they loaded the truck. Is that accurate? If so, cool, less work for me, if not i am going to spend a few days down there this spring repacking a few things and checking all of the boxes.

    TIA!

yes, the rules recently changed (again) and they are now required to unpack and repack everything- some are not doing it- but I would plan on it anyway.

I don't have to repack all of my crap!

Really, it is all packed, I was just concerned about my quality of packing.

Our movers repacked ALL our stuff that was still in boxes. We had a few boxes that we never unpacked when we moved homes...

I would have them repack it just so that it makes them responsible for any items that may get damaged. If they leave it as it, you are responsible and will get nothing for anything that is lost or damaged.
