what are the chances of my husband getting sent to korea as his first duty station?

He is in BMT still and wont know his job for probably another month, and I know thats the major deciding factor. Butttt is this something that the air force commonly does?

Has anyone known anyone to get sent to korea right out of tech school?

There are plenty of airmen here that this is their first assignment. It's just the luck of the draw. As far as duty stations go, Korea is pretty rocking I love it here!

It just depends on what he'll be doing.

DH was sent to Germany right outta tech, as were quite a few others.

DH says if its on his dream sheet he'll probably get it. They usually try to take volunteers first for unaccompanied tours.

Andrew is putting the words "any stateside location" on his dreamsheet.
