Its hot, there is NOTHING there, and to be honest it would be the last place on earth I would want to be stationed. I visited DH twice while he was on a DET to Yuma.... sorry

Doesn't sound like fun We are not getting stationed there hopefully but it is one of the options so we're just looking into everything.

Look else where... quickly I mean its pretty if you like the sand and some sandy mountains The base is very tiny and spread out to more then one base. The jets are cool. But honestly you can travel the whole town in like 20 minutes in a square. Its hard to get lost. And its not close to any other town that you can pop into and have fun at. It has a nice shopping center. But thats about it. So when I visited DH it was great but I would get sick of that in a heart beat and the heat... oh the heat is horrible! I don't think it got below 100 and that was in the middle of the night.
