How long did it take for your HHG's to get from West to the East Coast... or the other way around?

it really depends. we moved from WA to CT in 2003. the truck driver said the stuff would beat us back to CT and would be waiting in storage (we were taking the longest route possible due to it being winter and stopping off at my inlaws lol). he was wrong though and we didn't get our stuff until almost 30 days after we got here (plus the 10 days it took us to get here after our HHGs left WA). we wound up buying a small tv and a new bed because an air mattress on housing floors wasn't cutting it lol.

It took our HHG 4 days to get from NC to WA. They got to WA before we did, and ended up in storage. It took us 4 business days to get them from storage to our house.

moved from San Diego to Maine 4 months ago and hh goods took two weeks exactly. Reason why is because driver had to pick up other loads after he picked up ours and make other deliveries in New York and Pennsylvania before he made it to Maine to deliver ours. I'm sure weather will be a factor if you're moving in the winter. So it really depends on how many pick ups and deliveries your driver will have.

we'll be moving next summer. We plan to pack out a week before we leave here. I'm hoping our stuff will be there when we get there.

Since you're packing out a week before you leave I'll bet that your hh goods will be there when you arrive (assuming that you're driving and will take at least four days for driving). Good luck with the move. Ours went very smoothly considering our stuff went 3000+ miles.
