    Question Movex

    Advertisements
    Has anyone used them before?

I found them through the DITY movers site and they just called with a quote. They are the cheapest we've come across so far which is nice. Im just wondering if anyone has any experience with them? Good? bad? Should I run away as fast as possible?

I have no experience with them, but I got a quote from both them and ABF U-Pack and ABF's quote was less expensive, so you might check with them also.

I have no experience with either company. I did do a search for complaints.

Here is one from 2006 for Movex and I would check and see if their fine print is still the same.

Personally I always got the estimates and then packed my own Uhaul type trucks, towed the car behind and moved ourselves. We saved money and my furniture wasn't damaged because we used the packing blankets you can get and cardboard to keep from any rubbing damage. The one time we used movers, they destroyed furniture, lamps etc but they never paid on our claim against them.
