    Question about shipping a car

    Advertisements
I was just wondering if anyone ever shipped a car from 1 state to another?
    Who did you use?

I googled but some of the sites look kind of iffy. And one site that did look legit quoted me over $1,000 to ship the car from GA to KS.

I'm terrified to drive to KS but we have 2 cars so unless we ship one, I'm gonna have to suck it up and drive if shipping DH's car is gonna cost that much.

I'm using Dependable Auto Shippers... haven't dropped my car off yet, but so far over the phone they were helpful and gave me a great quote. I'll PM you.

I cant remember who we had ship our Jeep, but I am pretty sure that we just googled it and found one that seemed legit. We payed about 600 for the jeep to go from LA to AZ about 1500 miles. I really wish I could remember what place we used.

DH said that you can send emails to companies telling them what you need and wait for them to reply to you.

Also, we only paid part of our shipping upfront, the 2nd half was paid after the Jeep made it.
