I'm not there anymore, but I lived there until December. I'm happy to help if I can.

cost of living is awesome!! reasonable rent costs, good commisary and exhcange and lots of base activities.

Schools are considered the best in the state.

we bought a home- average home costs are from 115- 200,000 we bought our 4/2 new build for 189,000 ( and that is considered on the high end)

lots of other stuff to do- lakes , rivers, parks, camping, hikeing.

malls are 30 minutes in either direction, big city life ( JAX) just 15-20 minutes away.

crime rate is low, very family oriented area- the people are awesome, friendly and kind and service any where is outstanding.

there is a very active mom's group, we have 2 awesome libraries.

Kingsland and St. marys are both small wonderful little towns with big open hearts.

HTH'd let me know if there is anything else you want to know!!!
