Dh and I are PCS'ing to California in Feb. We're coming from FL. Does the military move your cars as well or should we do the long haul?

we've only PCSed OCONUS, but i think theyll pay for ONE car.
Personally, Id just make the drive myself.
When Dh moved me out to Cali to be with him, we drove from Fl.

I think they pay for one car also. Think about how much fun it would be to drive though! I love road trips

CONUS moves the military won't move your car... You have to drive it yourself.. or haul it with a trailer.
Only OCONUS will they move your car.

If you drive, i believe they reimburse for gas/ mileage for ONE car.

although we were reimbursed for 1 car & a moving truck, so i'm not 100% positive!

We have 2 cars though. So if we take 1, will they pay for the 2nd one to be taken over?

We were rembursed for both our vehicles. It was a millage per day thing. that may have changed in the last 2 years.

As far as I know they do not pay for you to send any of the cars CONUS.
