I'm not sure what you mean by proceed but I drove from SD to Vancouver, Wa with both kids and it took me 18 hours. My grandparents live around the Whidbey Island area and its only 3 hours from Vancouver to their house. So I'd say a total of 21 hours. I'd slip that into two days of driving.

Whidbey to SD will be somewhere around 5-6 days. I can't access the Official Distance thing at work yet, but if you calculate the milage from station to station and then divide by 350 miles, that will tell you how many days travel. Add on a day or two of proceed time and that will be it. It is 1344 miles from Whidbey NAS to San Diego proper on Yahoo maps = 3.8 days. They allow for 350 miles traveled per day. So that is likely to be real close.

Hey thanks, it helped me too. I leave to WA. Fort Lewis this week with the kids. I'll post later on how the drive was.

When we moved from Great Lakes,IL to Jacksonville,FL they gave dh 3 days travel and proceed time. Don't know if that helps any (the considered it an 1100 mile drive)
