    dity move question

    Advertisements
it seems like everything we own will fit in my dad's truck and my car, so there's no need to rent a uhual. has anyone else moved without renting a uhual or using any sort of trailer? i can't seem to find a good answer on if this is ok. everything i've read makes it sound like i can't get repaid for anything in my pov.
dh just went to talk to someone about it, and they told him they have no idea.

the less stuff you have the less you will get paid. The point is to pay for your expenses. they won't just give you x amount for a dity. does that make sense.

    I will miss you SOS...
Please be wary of what you post remember OPSEC is not just another acronym.

oh yeah i knew that. i know we won't get much back since we don't have much to move. i'd be happy with anything we got back though, basically just to give to my dad to cover his cost for gas.

i just can't find much info on moving if you just fill your own cars up.

yes they will pay for you to move your self- what you will have to do is weigh both vehicles empty and full- and they will pay you 95% of what it would have cost the GOV for the exact same weight.

generally most peeps rent a uhaul but that will be one less expense you will have-

what this is called is a full PPM ( personal procured move) and is in the JFTR as such.
