    First PCS?

So, I just saw in another thread that if you are moving and it is your first move you get preference for housing.. is that true? Hubby is due to graduate from AIT August 1st and we really want to live on post wherever we end up stationed...
This is my shrine to Bryanna... she rocks!!

Please be wary of what you post remember OPSEC is not just another acronym.

I have never heard that either. I mean, if the housing you choose just so happens to have a vacant, then sure. But, you don't get into certain housing just because it's your first move (or even because you're moving).

Unfortunately, I think this is another of those military "urban legends" (like "you get paid more for each child you have" - one of my personal favorites). It has not been anything I or any of my friends have ever encountered to be the case. Sorry.
