I don't know where to start. When we moved before it was our first and we had nothing. What do I do first? We move in February by the way and have done nothing...thanks!

you will have to set the move up on Smartweb. ( there should be a web addy on the orders somewhere or a call to Personal property can give you the web addy) That is the only way you can set up your move now. but you have to have hard copies of your orders to do so.

I was assuming we have the orders. We have what he printed off of bupers and the command gave him his transfer packet. We have actually had these for a while. He has to turn in the packet this week, but they want a move out date and all of that. Yet I can't get a straight answer from housing yet!! So, as far as orders, yes we have them.

when we moved out this last time, I gave our 30 day notice since it was PPV they went by regular tenant landlord laws. and i had to give a 20-30 day notice to not be responsible for partial BAH payment. Then i set up the move on smart web with the dates I wanted them to come pack us out. I gave myself a week to clean the house before final inspection.

Ok. So I guess first we should pick a date to move out... notify them and then set up the movers???

Do they ship your car?? We are going from Washington to California.

unsure on the car ship. In the past I was told no Conus car shipping but I could be wrong. all you have to do is tell housing when you want to be out of there. Then you just set up the move.
